Govt. Degree College Tral was established in 1988 and the Department of Education got its inception in the same year. Education as a subject at undergraduate level gets a good number of students. The Department has a long back history since the date of its establishment and has attracted the attention of a decent number of students.
The Department has been thriving with a remarkable past under a privileged leadership of the eminent academicians. The Department is showing keen interest for the enhancement and maintenance of quality standards of the college.
The Department is striving to develop & facilitate the knowledge, skills, values and learning styles of students to serve the society in general and prepare them for university education in particular and has produced a good number of graduates in the subject who augmented their academic career in the same subject.
The department has three (03) teaching faculty members, two working as Assistant Professors on permanent basis and one as on Academic arrangement.
